2025 Audi A3 upgradesdesign and performance

Audi’s A3 premium compact sedan is notably freshened for 2025 with exterior design revisions, upgraded interior materials and technology, a boost in the number of standard features, and access to the Audi app store. Audi’s esteemed Quattro all-wheel-drive system is now standard equipment.
Access to the Audi app store allows users to load popular apps directly into Audi’s Multimedia Interface (MMI).
The A3’s grille, front and rear LED lighting, front fascia, and rear diffuser are redesigned. There are two new wheels: a standard 17-inch 10-V-spoke with silver finish, and an optional 18-inch five double-spoke modular design with a bicolor finish.
Four new exterior colors available for the first time on the A3 are Arkona White, Arrow Gray pearl, Progressive Red metallic, and District Green metallic.
Interior changes are highlighted by a new shifter and three-spoke multifunction leather steering wheel. A 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and 10.1-inch touch display with Audi’s sophisticated virtual cockpit are now standard.
New accents, trims, finishes, and inlays in every direction coalesce to give the cabin a distinctly modern atmosphere.
Room and comfort for the driver and front passenger are plentiful in the small A3. Rear seat passengers aren’t quite as fortunate. It’s a little tight in the second row, not unusual for a compact sedan. Trunk space is also somewhat limited, measuring 8.3 cubic feet.
A 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine hitched to a seven-speed dual clutch automatic transmission (S-tronic) supplies the 2025 Audi A3 with 201 horsepower and 236 pound-feet of torque, a gain of 15 lb-ft over the previous model.
The lively engine pairs well with the A3’s sporty, fun-to-drive handling, and goes pretty easy on the fuel consumption: 24 mpg city, 34 mpg highway, and 28 mpg combined.
My test car had a Premium Plus package ($2,600), adding adaptive cruise control with lane guidance, Audi advanced key, auto-dimming inside mirror with compass, auto-dimming and power folding outside mirrors, Homelink garage door opener, hands-on detection steering wheel, LED interior lighting pro package, driver-seat memory, SiriusXM, and a Sonos premium sound system with 3D surround.
