OAK HARBOR — Monroe, the No. 2 seed in the tournament, knocked off No. 1 Oak Harbor on Friday to earn a spot in the first-ever WIAA state tournament. The Bearcats, seeded 11th, will face No. 6 Liberty in a loser-out game Feb. 7 at Eastside Catholic H.S.

Everett narrowly missed a berth, falling 23-22 to Oak Harbor on Saturday.
