Local candidates woo voters through MySpace

A story in today’s paper about MySpace banners designed to reach potential young voters made me curious about the role of MySpace in local campaigns.

I did a little digging and couldn’t immediately find anyone who had posted the flashy, get-out-the-vote banners. But maybe there will be more interest after the primary.

I did find MySpace pages for two local candidates: Aaron Reardon and John Lovick.

Has anyone out there used MySpace to get information on political candidates? Send me an e-mail and I’ll post selected responses here.
