Here’s how some of your taxes were spent during recent city council actions.

Arlington $2,030 to Cascade Columbia of Seattle for a study about how to upgrade solids handling at the city’s wastewater treatment plant.

$497 to Jostens of Marysville for a frame for a black-and-white artist’s sketch commemorating the fire department’s centennial celebration.

$132,941 to Motorola of Schaumburg, Ill., for the city’s new 800-megahertz communications system for emergency services.

$13,089 to Penway of Arlington for printing, office supplies and postage for the city’s quarterly newsletter and the Parks and Recreation Department’s winter activity guide.

Edmonds: $28,410 to help fund the 2006 salary of $79,790 for a recycling coordinator split between Edmonds and Lynnwood, with the remainder split between Lynnwood and a state grant.

Everett: $693.30 to Pacific Copy and Printing for products including the “Monte Cristo Award” certificate for $102.57.

$156.22 to Smokey Point Plant Farm for two trees for the city’s Public Works department.

Lake Stevens: $4,477 to the state Department of Revenue for sewer excise tax.

$36,512 to the Lake Stevens Sewer District for sewer services.

$7,823 to Urban Advisors Ltd. of Portland, Ore., for ongoing planning services.

$3,802 to the Lake Stevens School District for fuel.

$3,858 to Weed, Graafstra and Benson of Snohomish for legal services.

Marysville: $4,158 to Hammond, Collier, Wade and Livingstone of Seattle for ongoing design work.

$39,007 to DMJM Harris of Bellevue for ongoing engineering services.

$100 to the Snohomish County Information Services Department for computer training.

$29,407 to Rinker Materials of West Palm Beach, Fla., for asphalt.

$433 to Skagit Harley-Davidson of Burlington for motorcycle servicing and repair.

Monroe: $376 to Cadman, Inc. of Monroe for sidewalk work.

$375 to Hageman Service of Marysville for window cleaning.

$1,782 to Okanogan County Jail for September jail fees.

Mukilteo: An agreement to pay $65 per hour to Snohomish County for mechanical services for fire vehicles and equipment in 2006.

Snohomish: $873 to Blumenthal Uniform Co. of Seattle for uniforms.

$18,038 to Everett for water bills for September and October.

$129 to Everett Stamp Works for name plaques for board and commission members.

Stanwood $783 to Les Schwab in Arlington for repair and maintenance on a 1968 GMC vehicle.

$43 to Lippincott, Williams and Wilkins of Hagerstown, Md., for an anatomical chart for the fire department, as part of a physical fitness grant.
