EVERETT — Another day, another home run for Julio Rodriguez.

And another win for the Everett AquaSox.

Rodriguez homered for the fourth straight game, Zach DeLoach hit a grand slam and the AquaSox rolled to their eighth consecutive victory with a 20-3 rout of the Tri-City Dust Devils on Sunday at Funko Field.

Everett (10-2) pounded out 19 hits, including four home runs and five doubles. Rodriguez, DeLoach, Patrick Frick and Jack Larsen each had three-hit games for the AquaSox. All nine batters in Everett’s lineup had at least one hit.

The AquaSox exploded for four runs in the fourth inning, eight runs in the fifth, four runs in the sixth and three runs in the seventh.

The win gave Everett a six-game sweep of Tri-City (3-9). The AquaSox outscored the Dust Devils 65-16 in the series.

Rodriguez, one of the top prospects in all of baseball, continued his early-season tear by going 3-for-5 with a home run, three RBIs and three runs scored. The 20-year-old phenom extended his hitting streak to 10 games and homered for the fifth time in six games.

DeLoach went 3-for-6 with a grand slam, a double, four RBIs and three runs scored.

Frick homered twice, added a double and finished 3-for-4 with five RBIs and four runs scored.

Isaiah Campbell struck out seven batters and walked none in four innings of relief for Everett. He allowed one earned run, one unearned run and three hits.

The AquaSox begin a 12-game road trip Tuesday night, when they kick off a six-game series against the Spokane Indians.
