2025 Lexus TX 350 welcomes new F Sport Handling model

Unique exterior highlights, a glass roof and sport-tuned suspension are among the attractions.

The Lexus TX 350 three-row luxury SUV adds a new F Sport Handling trim for 2025. It joins the Base, Premium, and Luxury grades already ensconced in the lineup, and is available only for a TX 350 with all-wheel drive.

F Sport Handling exterior highlights include a unique front fascia, rear valance, black roof rails, dark chrome window trim, black outside mirrors, and exclusive 22-inch wheels with a matte black finish.

This grade comes with sport-tuned adaptive variable suspension (AVS), intuitive parking assist with automatic braking, a panoramic glass roof, and power-folding third-row seats.

Other standard features of the F Sport Handling are a leather-wrapped heated steering wheel, ventilated front seats, aluminum pedals, and aluminum scuff plates. Its seating configuration has second-row captain’s chairs, which means a total seating capacity of six. For comparison, the base model comes standard with seven-passenger seating, and there’s a choice of six or seven in the Premium and Luxury trims.

Propulsion for the Lexus TX 350 is courtesy of a turbocharged 2.4-liter four-cylinder gas engine delivering 275 horsepower and 317 pound-feet of torque. It’s linked to an eight-speed automatic transmission. The team accelerates the SUV effectively, and the F Sport Handling’s AVS system enables sportier behavior on Snohomish County’s illustrious winding roads. At the same time, AVS ensures a tranquil cabin by smoothing the ride over rough pavement areas sprinkled around the county.

EPA fuel economy ratings for the TX 350 AWD are 20 mpg city, 26 mpg highway, and 23 mpg combined. Premium gasoline is recommended.

In the very competitive three-row luxury SUV market, the 2025 Lexus TX 350’s enormous cabin is an advantage. Third-row seats are roomy enough for adults, not just preschoolers. And when those seats are in use, there’s still a cargo area behind them with 20.2 cubic feet of space. Fold down the third row, and capacity expands to 57.4 cubic feet. Go hog wild, fold down the second row too, and 97 cubic feet are yours for the using.

The F Sport Handling’s standard intuitive parking assist system is a big bonus on top of the other features already included in the TX 350’s list of advanced safety technologies. It makes parking mindless. I mean, my parking is always mindless, but with this assist system, it became accurate.

High-quality NuLuxe synthetic leather upholstery is standard on the F Sport Handling. Other interior amenities include heat and ventilation for the second-row captain’s chairs, seven USB ports (three are Type-C), three power outlets, and a wireless charger.

The test vehicle was graced with a 21-speaker Mark Levinson premium audio system, a $1,160 option and worth every penny to my mind, which dictates that no amount of money is ever wasted on music, and you can never have too many speakers.
