CAMANO ISLAND — A man crashed on a motorcycle on West Camano Drive and died Sunday night.
Christian Roper, 45, was southbound on the road near Hagen Road around 7:55 p.m., when he didn’t follow the curve, lost control and crossed into the northbound lane, where he collided with a minivan driver.
He was thrown from the seat, landed in the roadway and died at the scene, according to a Washington State Patrol memo about the collision. He wore a helmet.
The other driver did not have serious injuries.
The cause of the crash was under investigation.
