Daddy-daughter dance in Lynnwood:Missed recent daddy-daughter dances? Here’s another chance. Lynnwood Parks, Arts and Recreation holds a Ties and Tiaras Winter Ball, 5-7 p.m. or 7:30-9:30 p.m. Feb. 21 at the Cedar Valley Grange Hall, 20526 52nd Ave. W. Girls ages 3 and up are invited to dance the night away with dads, grandpas, uncles or other important male figures as their escorts. Swim in Mountlake Terrace: A free swim time is planned Friday to celebrate finished repairs and new features at the Mountlake Terrace Recreation Pavilion, 5303 228th St. SW.
The free swim is planned from 4 to 7 p.m., with the ribbon- cutting at 6 p.m.
A children’s pretend-fishing event is planned starting at 4 p.m., with rubber duck races to follow.
A new therapy pool is now open. That pool will be used for physical therapy, people with disabilities and mobility issues and for fitness classes.
