Sharing Wheels Community Bicycle Co-op offers a used bicycle sale fundraiser on Sunday.
It’s planned from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 2531 Broadway, Everett.
Sharing Wheels provides bicycles for transportation and fun. Sales benefit a Christmas House kid’s bike program. At the Sharing Wheels sale, find brands such as Trek, Bridgestone, Univega and Nishiki and rummage through boxes of bicycle parts.
There’s still time for fair food: The Evergreen State Fair in Monroe had a great run the last week of August through Labor Day. For those who still have an unsatisfied craving for scones or ears of corn slathered in butter, visit the Puyallup Fair that continues through Sept. 27.
Try some interesting food. At the Totally Fried booth, find Krispy Kreme chicken sandwiches, chocolate covered bacon and zucchini weenies.
