Police: Everett woman, 80, died in hit and run

EVERETT — A crash in Everett last week that killed an elderly woman is being investigated as a hit and run, police said.

Around 6:30 p.m. Aug. 15, Patricia Oman was walking along the 5400 block of Broadway when a silver SUV hit her, Everett police officer Ora Hamel said. The SUV reportedly left the scene.

Days later, Oman died of blunt force injuries at a local hospital, according to the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office. She was 80.

Police had not identified a suspect in the crash Tuesday. The investigation remained active.
