Providence General Children’s Association guilds raise money for the nonprofit, whose mission is to address the health care needs of children in the region. Recent donations included $2,500 from Guild 18 and $3,500 from Guild 8. Money was raised from year-round donation drives and Valentine’s Day candy sales.

Meanwhile, Guild 21 donated $6,000 to the Readiness to Learn Program at the South Whidbey Community Center. The funds will be used to provide supplies, clothing and basic needs for school readiness for homeless youth.
