EVERETT — The North County Regional Fire Authority’s annual Santa Run Food Drive will start Dec. 5, a press release said.

Firefighters and friends will escort Santa through Arlington and Stanwood while he rides on a fire engine to collect food and monetary donations for local community food banks. On Monday through Thursday, routes will begin at 5:30 p.m. On Friday through Sunday, routes will start at 5 p.m.

On Dec. 5-13, Santa will visit various Arlington neighborhoods. Dec. 14, Santa will be in Warm Beach, and Dec. 15-16, he will be in Stanwood. For the full list of neighborhoods, visit northcountyfireems.com/community-programs/annual-santa-run.

On each route, designated pit stops will allow neighbors to rally together and make things easier for Santa and his helpers.

All food donations should be non-perishable items. The event is put on in partnership with IAFF Local 3438.
