EVERETT — Cade Marlowe homered twice and drove in four runs as the Everett AquaSox snapped a brief two-game losing skid with a 5-4 win over the Eugene Emeralds on Saturday night at Funko Field.
Marlowe hit a two-run blast in the third inning and another two-run shot in the fifth that snapped a 3-3 tie.
Joseph Rosa hit a solo home run and Kennie Taylor went 2-for-2 with a double and two runs scored for the AquaSox.
Reid Morgan started on the mound for Everett (50-26) and turned in a quality outing. Morgan allowed three runs on five hits in six innings while striking out nine and walking none. Nate Fisher and Nolan Hoffman combined for three solid innings of relief to close the game. Fisher tossed 1.1 socreless innings and Hoffman allowed only a run in 1.2 innings of work.
Franklin Labour and Ismael Munguia each homered for Eugene (44-33).
