Cascade 70, Everett 67 (OT)

EVERETT — Devin Gilbert scored 22 points, including five in overtime, as Cascade held off Everett in a league battle on Saturday afternoon.

Cam Edwards had 16 points and Jackson Nelson added 15 for Cascade (5-8, 5-6 Wesco 3A/2A), which bounced back in a big way after a 25-point loss to first-place Shorecrest on Thursday.

Danny Savovic scored a team-high 20 points, Jaiden Teklemicheal added 17, and Isaiah White chipped in a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds for Everett (8-7, 7-3), which rallied back from a seven-point deficit in the fourth quarter to force overtime, but came up just short of the win.

Edmonds-Woodway 63, Meadowdale 47

EDMONDS — Jacob Gabler scored 10 points and added 11 rebounds, including seven on the offensive end, as Edmonds-Woodway earned a league win over Meadowdale.

Adonai Daniel scored 10 points to go along with four assists and three steals, and Gibby Marshall-Inman added nine points and two steals for Edmonds-Woodway (7-8, 6-5 Wesco 3A/2A).

Aiden Bloomquist scored a game-high 18 points, and Eben Sarka had seven points and five blocked shots for Meadowdale (1-11, 1-8).

Marysville Pilchuck 65, Monroe 53

MARYSVILLE — Benjamin Baxter led four Marysville Pilchuck scorers in double figures with 18 points in a league win over Monroe. Anthony Najera scored 15 points, Tommy Nguyen added 13 and Jamaari Jefferson chipped in 11 for Marysville Pilchuck (6-6, 6-4 Wesco 3A/2A). Reid Schaeffer scored 18 and Srevenue Kuhnle added 16 for Monroe (4-9, 4-7).

NON-LEAGUE

Stanwood 49, Mount Vernon 46

MOUNT VERNON — Kaeden McGlothin hit a long 3-pointer at the buzzer as Stanwood pulled off a thrilling non-league win over Mount Vernon on Saturday.

John Floyd scored a team-high 24 points for Stanwood (11-5), which earned it’s fifth win in a row and eighth in its past 10 games.

Mount Vernon fell to 11-4 overall.

Lakewood 71, Marysville Getchell 49

MARYSVILLE — Justice Taylor scored a game-high 22 points and added seven assists, five rebounds and five steals as Lakewood rolled to a non-league win over Marysville Getchell.

Freshman Evan Stacey scored 15 points, Ben Rucker added 13 and Mason Weller had 11 assists for Lakewood (9-4), which earned its third win in four games since returning from a month-long pause.

Aiden Gleason scored a team-high 15 points and Ryan Allison added 12 for Marysville Getchell (5-10).

DUVALL — Jenna Villa scored 26 points and every Arlington player scored in a dominant league win over Cedarcrest on Saturday.

Keira Marsh and Kierra Reese both added 13 points for Arlington (12-2, 9-0 Wesco 3A/2A), which remained undefeated in league play on the season.

Cedarcrest fell to 7-7 overall and 1-6 in league play.

Meadowdale 52, Edmonds-Woodway 44

NON-LEAGUE

Sultan 40, King’s 38

SHORELINE — In an Emerald Sound Conference crossover matchup, the Sultan girls battled back from a six-point halftime deficit to beat King’s for the first time since 2010 on Saturday afternoon.

The Lady Turks, the top team in the Emerald Sound Conference Coho Division, snapped a 20-game losing streak against King’s, the second-place team in the Chinook Division.

Cascadia Yates scored 15 points, Faith Anderson added 14 and Taylor Cushing chipped in nine for Sultan (13-2).

Cat Ellard led King’s (13-7) with 13 points.

Cascade 54, Sedro-Woolley 38

EVERETT — Abby Surowiec scored a team-high 19 points and Mariam Sylla added 18 as Cascade earned a non-league win over Sedro-Woolley.

Claire Mitchell chipped in 13 points for Cascade (2-11), which snapped an eight-game losing streak with the win.

Mabel Gahan scored a team-high 19 points for Sedro-Woolley (3-14).

Marysville Pilchuck 48, Monroe 30

MARYSVILLE — Sophomore forward Gianna Frank scored a game-high 22 points as Marysville Pilchuck rolled to a league win over Monroe.

Aubre Zackuse scored seven points and Bri Ruiz added six for Marysville Pilchuck (3-9).

Eden Moore scored a team-high nine points for Monroe (2-12).
