MARYSVILLE — Katie Buck hit a home run in the first inning of the non-league game to lead Marysville-Pilchuck (4-0 overall) to a four-run first inning. Buck finished 3-for-4, scoring two runs with five RBI. M-P scored five runs in the second inning, two of them coming on a triple by Morgan Martinis, who also scored two runs. Pitcher Monica Clow (2-0) had four strikeouts and gave up three hits and three walks for M-P. Dani Norsby scored the only run for Shorewood (1-2, 2-4) in the fifth inning. Shorewood pitcher Madison Hollenbeck gave up 12 hits and three walks.
