Seahawks release player you probably haven’t heard of, claim another off of waivers

Big* news out of Renton today from the Seahawks. Seattle claimed receiver Kole Heckendorf off of waivers from Detroit today, and to make room released receiver Chris Duvalt. Duvalt, as I’m sure everyone remembers, was a tryout player at the last minicamp, and signed earlier this month.
Heckedorf came into the league last year as an undrafted free agent, and after being waived by Green Bay, spent the season on Detroit’s practice squad.
