Two men cut in fight over samurai sword

BONNEY LAKE — Police in the Pierce County community of Bonney Lake say two men suffered serious cuts while fighting for control of a samurai sword.

Police told KING-TV that officers responded Monday afternoon to an assault call and found one man covered in blood.

They said there was a property dispute between that man and another man who was a guest at the home. At some point, the sword came into play.

After police persuaded the second man to leave the residence, both men were taken to a hospital. Their injuries are not considering life-threatening.

An investigation continues.
