5 dogs ready for adoption from Everett Animal Shelter
Spot is a sweet girl looking for a forever home. She extremely particular when picking her canine friends. She would rather be the only pet but could meet another calm large breed dog if her potential adopters have experience with herding breeds. Her new home cannot have any cats or small breed dogs. Spot would love to go on daily walks to keep her happy and healthy. (Curt Story / Everett Animal Shelter)
Birdie is a super sweet young Shepherd looking for an experienced home. She would love to attend training classes and should excel! Birdie will chase cats and will need a meet and greet if there any dogs in her new home. We sent in a DNA test on her and she is a purebred Shepherd with floppy ears! (Curt Story / Everett Animal Shelter)
Heidi is a beautiful young senior lab that loves to play fetch all day! She is still very active and needs plenty of exercise. Heidi likes other dogs and knows some tricks. She will need a family with somebody home all the time or able to take her with them. She can not be crated or left in an outdoor kennel as she becomes very destructive and injures herself. She is a wonderful dog and just needs the right family. (Curt Story / Everett Animal Shelter)
Peter is a unique looking handsome dog. He will need an active family and secure confinement as he likes to wander. He will need a meet and greet with any resident dogs. We are not sure how he is with cats so proper introductions and caution should be used. Come meet this happy guy today. (Curt Story / Everett Animal Shelter)
Zeus is a mellow guy looking for a new home. He has lived with other dogs and children over the age of 12 years. He is house trained and knows some basic commands. He has not lived with cats and will need a feline free home. Zeus will make a great walking partner. (Curt Story / Everett Animal Shelter)

The Everett Animal Shelter hosts thousands of stray and unwanted animals every year. Some are adopted right away, but some sit in the shelter for weeks at a time, waiting for a home. The shelter has dogs and cats, as well as some rabbits and birds, all looking for a loving home.

All pets are vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and given a identifying microchip before they are adopted. Take a look at some of the dogs, cats and other animals that are available for adoption at the shelter now. Here is the previous post featuring animals up for adoption.

If you’re interested in adopting an animal, the shelter is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, call 425-257-6000.
