These Everett Animal Shelter hounds need homes
Jada is a sweet laid back young senior lady. She loves going for walks and sleeping on comfy dog beds. Jada will need a meet and greet with any resident dogs and her home needs to be feline free. (Curt Story/Everett Animal Shelter)
Jessica is a young Shepherd needing some direction in her life. She is beautiful and very smart and will make someone a great companion. Jessica will need a tall, secure, fenced yard constructed of wood as she climbs chain link and loves to jump as high as she can. She has lived with another dog and done well but will need a feline free home. Jessica is much too active for apartment living at this time. (Curt Story/Everett Animal Shelter)
Leo has been passed around a bit lately due to him being true to his breed. He needs a home without any other animals or children. Leo will need secure confinement and plenty of exercise. His next home needs solid breed experience with huskies and willing to commit to him. (Curt Story/Everett Animal Shelter)
Max is looking for his last forever home. He has lived with kids but would prefer older kids as he’s older and doesn’t want to be handled roughly. Max needs a fenced yard and his perfect home would have a dog door as, because he’s older he needs to go out and potty on a regular basis. Max has never lived with dogs but should be fine with a meet and greet and has lived with cats (still needs a proper introduction!) (Curt Story/Everett Animal Shelter)

Mocha is a beautiful Austrian Shepherd mix. She has lived with kids over 10 years old and other dogs. Her new home must be feline free. If there are any resident canines they must have a meet and greet prior to adoption. She can be very cautious when meeting new people. (Curt Story/Everett Animal Shelter)

Rocky is looking for his forever home, don’t let his age fool you Rocky still has a ton of love to give. The great things about older dogs, they’re already house broken, trained and require less time and energy. Rocky would be good with respectful kids 6 and up and needs a meet and greet with any resident dogs. (Curt Story/Everett Animal Shelter)
Sally is a timid little dog looking for her new home. She will take some time to adjust but will do well in a calm predictable adult home. Sally does not like to be picked up and reacts negatively. She is going to make somebody a wonderful little companion. (Curt Story/Everett Animal Shelter)

The Everett Animal Shelter hosts thousands of stray and unwanted animals every year. Some are adopted right away, but some sit in the shelter for weeks at a time, waiting for a home. The shelter has dogs and cats, as well as some rabbits and birds, all looking for a loving home.

All pets are vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and given a identifying microchip before they are adopted. Take a look at some of the dogs, cats and other animals that are available for adoption at the shelter now. Here is the previous post featuring animals up for adoption.

If you’re interested in adopting an animal, the shelter is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, call 425-257-6000.
