Bubblegum is a sweet, handsome guy! He came in as a stray so we don’t know much about him except for the fact he loves to eat and will sleep on his back with his legs up in the air! Rabbits are very social and smart; often learning tricks with training and daily handling. Any kids in the house should be respectful as bunnies can spook easily during a new transition. Any large animals (cats/dogs) should be slowly introduced after he has settled in. Bubblegum has now been neutered which may make him calmer and help to keep him healthier. Gypsy is looking for her new forever home! She will need an adult only home with out any other pets. She loves going for walks and will make a great hiking partner. (Curt Story/Everett Animal Shelter)
Haystack is a very chill guy. He loves to relax and munch on his favorite snacks. He will need a slow, quiet introduction into the home and all large animals (dogs, cats) should be kept away for a week or so. Once the stress of the big move has subsided, he will become much more interested in socializing. Bunnies are very smart animals and can learn tricks with time and patience! Jade is a shy little dog who has been passed around a bit. Once she warms up she wants to be your best friend. She has done ok with other dogs her size here but we are unsure how she will be with cats. Any children in the home should be over the age of 12 years and respectful of small shy dogs. (Curt Story/Everett Animal Shelter)
Solo is a very sweet and cuddly young man. He gets along with almost everyone. He will need a nice space to jump around for exercise and play. He may be the perfect addition to your family. Come meet and greet this fluffy boy. (Curt Story/Everett Animal Shelter)

The Everett Animal Shelter hosts thousands of stray and unwanted animals every year. Some are adopted right away, but some sit in the shelter for weeks at a time, waiting for a home. The shelter has dogs and cats, as well as some rabbits and birds, all looking for a loving home.

All pets are vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and given a identifying microchip before they are adopted. Take a look at some of the dogs, cats and other animals that are available for adoption at the shelter now. Here is the previous post featuring animals up for adoption.

If you’re interested in adopting an animal, the shelter is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, call 425-257-6000.
