Two dogs at Everett Animal Shelter ready for forever homes
Angels owner has passed away and she is in need of a new home. She gets along well with other dogs and has not lived with cats. Angel is very gentle with children but also needs them to be respectful with her. She is house trained and loves going for short walks. (Curt Story/Everett Animal Shelter)
Zinnia came up here from Hawaii a few weeks ago to a new home. While she lived well with the two resident Bostons she did not get along with a relatives dog. This sweet girl loves hiking and going for car rides. She will do well in a home with consistent training and a secure fenced yard. Zinnia is part sight hound and will take off after anything small and moving! Due to her prey drive she will need a feline and small animal free home. (Curt Story/Everett Animal Shelter)

The Everett Animal Shelter hosts thousands of stray and unwanted animals every year. Some are adopted right away, but some sit in the shelter for weeks at a time, waiting for a home. The shelter has dogs and cats, as well as some rabbits and birds, all looking for a loving home.

All pets are vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and given a identifying microchip before they are adopted. Take a look at some of the dogs, cats and other animals that are available for adoption at the shelter now. Here is the previous post featuring animals up for adoption.

If you’re interested in adopting an animal, the shelter is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, call 425-257-6000.
