Jack, George and Maggie — dogs ready for adoption in Everett
George is a big handsome guy! He has not lived with other dogs and plays roughly so will need a meet and greet. He can not live with cats or poultry as he finds them too much fun. He is house-trained and will need plenty of daily exercise. George has not lived with children and appears to be hesitant around them so any children in the home should be over the age of 12 years. (Curt Story/Everett Animal Shelter)
Jack is a fun guy looking for an active home. He will need a meet and greet with any resident canine and he cannot live with cats. Any children in the home should be over 12 years old. Jack is not suited for apartment living. (Curt Story/Everett Animal Shelter)
Maggie is a very active husky. She will need secure confinement and a home with husky experience. She is a beautiful dog but as with most husky’s quite a handful. She has been OK with other dogs her size she has met here but will need a meet and greet. She can not live in a home with felines or other small furry creatures. Maggie is much to busy for apartment living. Please have a plan in place to provide very secure confinement. (Curt Story/Everett Animal Shelter)

The Everett Animal Shelter hosts thousands of stray and unwanted animals every year. Some are adopted right away, but some sit in the shelter for weeks at a time, waiting for a home. The shelter has dogs and cats, as well as some rabbits and birds, all looking for a loving home.

All pets are vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and given a identifying microchip before they are adopted. Take a look at some of the dogs, cats and other animals that are available for adoption at the shelter now. Here is the previous post featuring animals up for adoption.

If you’re interested in adopting an animal, the shelter is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, call 425-257-6000.
