Meet Nellie, Thor, Raven, Lola, Jasper, Gunner and Bella
Bella is a beautiful strong dog looking for a new home. She has lived with other dogs but we are not sure how she did, so she will need a meet-and-greet with any resident canines. Bella is said to be house trained and loves going for walks. She will need a feline-free home. (Curt Story/Everett Animal Shelter)
Gunner is a feisty little min pin! He has lived with children but we are recommending a home with children over the age of 12 years because he does not like to be startled. Gunner lived with other dogs and did well. He may do OK with cats after proper introductions. Come meet this handsome guy today. (Curt Story/Everett Animal Shelter)
Jasper is a feisty little terrier! He has lived with another dog and did great, but will still need to meet any resident dogs. Jasper is said to be house trained and knows a few tricks, such as “roll over.” He loves playing with toys and needs plenty of exercise. Jasper can get protective and will need a home free of children. (Curt Story/Everett Animal Shelter)
Lola is an active dog looking for a family to keep up with her. She will need to be the only pet in the home. Lola is house trained and loves going for walks. (Curt Story/Everett Animal Shelter)
Miss Nellie is a sweet senior dog looking for her new home. She would do best in an adult home and would also do well in a senior living type situation. She came in with another dog and seemed to enjoy her company. Nellie should be OK with cats after proper introductions. (Curt Story/Everett Animal Shelter)
Raven is super active dog! She is looking for a home that has the time and patience to train her. She doesn’t know any commands and has some bad habits but she is very treat-motivated. She will need a meet-and-greet with any resident canines. She cannot live with cats. Raven barks and howls frequently so is not suited for apartment living. Any children in the home should be over 13 years old and be able to participate in Raven’s training. (Curt Story/Everett Animal Shelter)
Thor is a handsome dog looking for a new home. He will need secure confinement when left alone because, after all, he is a husky! Thor will need a meet-and-greet with any resident dogs, and a feline-free home. (Curt Story/Everett Animal Shelter)

The Everett Animal Shelter hosts thousands of stray and unwanted animals every year. Some are adopted right away, but some sit in the shelter for weeks at a time, waiting for a home. The shelter has dogs and cats, as well as some rabbits and birds, all looking for a loving home.

All pets are vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and given a identifying microchip before they are adopted. Take a look at some of the dogs, cats and other animals that are available for adoption at the shelter now. Here is the previous post featuring animals up for adoption.

If you’re interested in adopting an animal, the shelter is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, call 425-257-6000.
