What a beautiful, soft, fluffy feline! Chika’s fur is the envy of many cats here. Why don’t you come and meet her? You’ll see she’s just as lovely on the inside. (Arleigh Movitz/Everett Animal Shelter)
Jr is an hunter of many toys (even plays fetch). He will need to be slowly introduced to any resident cats but he does like dogs. (Arleigh Movitz/Everett Animal Shelter)
Pop is one sweet lady! She and her friend Pipp came in as strays, so we don’t have much history on them. Pop enjoys greeting you when you open the veggie fridge and will take the veggies straight from your hand. Guinea pigs make wonderful first pets! Come on down to see if you can give Pop a forever home! (Arleigh Movitz/Everett Animal Shelter)

The Everett Animal Shelter hosts thousands of stray and unwanted animals every year. Some are adopted right away, but some sit in the shelter for weeks at a time, waiting for a home. The shelter has dogs and cats, as well as some rabbits and birds, all looking for a loving home.

All pets are vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and given a identifying microchip before they are adopted. Take a look at some of the dogs, cats and other animals that are available for adoption at the shelter now. Here is the previous post featuring animals up for adoption.

If you’re interested in adopting an animal, the shelter is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, call 425-257-6000.
