Chewy is a nice senior Boxer with plenty of energy! He will need a meet and greet with any resident dog and a feline free home. Although Chewy has lived with children he can be a bit reactive with handling so any kids in the home need to be over the age of 13 and used to big dogs. Chewy is said to be a bit protective and also does jump fences so will need secure confinement. (Curt Story/Everett Animal Shelter)
Glade is a shy little guy looking for a new home. He has lived with many other dogs but will need a meet and greet with any resident dogs. He may do OK with cats after proper introductions. Gabriel will need a strict house training routine and a calm home environment. Glade will need an adult only home that has a lot of patience and time to socialize him. Layla is a playful cat. She enjoys playing with toy mice and balls. After playing she loves to curl up and take a nap with you.

The Everett Animal Shelter hosts thousands of stray and unwanted animals every year. Some are adopted right away, but some sit in the shelter for weeks at a time, waiting for a home. The shelter has dogs and cats, as well as some rabbits and birds, all looking for a loving home.

All pets are vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and given a identifying microchip before they are adopted. Take a look at some of the dogs, cats and other animals that are available for adoption at the shelter now. Here is the previous post featuring animals up for adoption.

If you’re interested in adopting an animal, the shelter is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, call 425-257-6000.
