A couple of playful pups wait for adoption
Buck is a very energetic young dog! He has never lived with dogs and will need a meet and greet with any resident canines. He does bark often and is not suited for apartment living. He knows a ton of commands and loves to swim. If you have an adventure packed life this might be the perfect companion for you! (Curt Story/Everett Animal Shelter)
Suess is a nice little dog looking for a calm predictable home. He is a happy little guy who has been a gentleman when meeting other dogs but he will need a meet and greet with any resident dogs of potential adopters. Suess met our cat safety tester and did well but will still need proper introductions and, because he likes to play and have fun, he may be chase at first. This guy loves going for walks and runs but his favorite thing to do is be with his people. Suess would appreciate a home without small children, therefore, we are asking that any children in the home be over the age of 12. Suess weighs 14 pounds. (Curt Story/Everett Animal Shelter)

The Everett Animal Shelter hosts thousands of stray and unwanted animals every year. Some are adopted right away, but some sit in the shelter for weeks at a time, waiting for a home. The shelter has dogs and cats, as well as some rabbits and birds, all looking for a loving home.

All pets are vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and given a identifying microchip before they are adopted. Take a look at some of the dogs, cats and other animals that are available for adoption at the shelter now. Here is the previous post featuring animals up for adoption.

If you’re interested in adopting an animal, the shelter is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, call 425-257-6000.
