Juno new years resolution is to find a home that will help her loss some weight. She will need some encouragement and support in getting her to loss the weight she needs. At 10 years old, she is not ready to take up jogging, but some extra play time every day would be OK with her! (Arleigh Movitz/Everett Animal Shelter)
Kona is a beautiful black panther looking like cat. She is quiet in till she gets to know you. She will need a gradual introduction to any resident pets. (Arleigh Movitz/Everett Animal Shelter)
Mocha is a friendly guy who came to us as a stray. He has been very talkative here, especially when he’s looking for attention! He has been very affectionate with staff and volunteers since his arrival. His hobbies include being petted, chasing toys, and telling you all about his day! (Arleigh Movitz/Everett Animal Shelter)
Sassy is a sweet girl who was surrendered to the shelter due to her owner’s health. She is a little overwhelmed right now by her recent life changes, so if you can’t see her she may be hiding. She has been friendly but shy when approached by staff and volunteers. We trust that with time, patience, and love she will come out of her shell and show us more of her personality. Sassy is also de-clawed on the front feet and will need to be indoor only. (Arleigh Movitz/Everett Animal Shelter)

The Everett Animal Shelter hosts thousands of stray and unwanted animals every year. Some are adopted right away, but some sit in the shelter for weeks at a time, waiting for a home. The shelter has dogs and cats, as well as some rabbits and birds, all looking for a loving home.

All pets are vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and given a identifying microchip before they are adopted. Take a look at some of the dogs, cats and other animals that are available for adoption at the shelter now. Here is the previous post featuring animals up for adoption.

If you’re interested in adopting an animal, the shelter is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, call 425-257-6000.
