Musical trifecta: Plays the tenor saxophone in the Sultan High School jazz band, trombone in the pep band and clarinet in the wind ensemble. Is drum major for the marching band. “My whole life has just been wrapped around music.”

Advice: To play three instruments, must be willing to work. “You have to be motivated and you also have to be musically talented. Clarinet is a good starter instrument because it teaches you all the basics.”

Dream gig: Would love to play the clarinet while Alicia Keys sings.

School star: Played lead role of Rosie DeLeon in recent school production of “Bye Bye Birdie.” As a freshman and a sophomore, earned small roles in plays, but this was her first big role.

Being onstage: “It’s a big adrenaline rush when you’re performing. I love to perform. … It was pretty intense.”

Becoming Rosie: Dyed blond hair black. “Through the whole musical, I am angry at Albert, so I’d have to think of something onstage that made me really mad and use that energy against Albert.”

Singing alto: Participates in the show, honor and concert choirs.

Straight A’s: Has a 4.0 grade point average. Never had a parent hounding her to do homework, so she motivated herself to get it done.

Next year: Plans to study nursing at the University of Washington in Seattle. Wants to play clarinet in Husky marching band.

Life in Gold Bar: Born in Bellevue, but has lived in Gold Bar all her life. “It’s a good small town to grow up in. It’s just good to get out when you graduate so you can go onto bigger things.”

Sister, sister: Very close to and once lived with sister Jenny Stone, 20. “We’ve pretty much been through everything together, so she’s my rock.”

One wheel: Rode a unicycle in elementary school.

A little mystery: Enjoys reading mystery books such as “Daddy’s Little Girl” by Mary Higgins Clark.

Double duty: Works as a hostess at Red Robin and in the box office and concession stand at the Galaxy Theater in Monroe. Is saving for college and a summer trip to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, with her sister and a friend.
