SEATTLE — More U.S. military family members fleeing Japan’s earthquake and tsunami are expected to arrive at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport this week.

The first flight to Sea-Tac on Saturday brought about 233 family members, including 190 children, who are voluntarily leaving Japan. Another flight arrived Monday.

Navy spokesman J. Overton, who is helping to coordinate the arrivals, told the News Tribune of Tacoma that 13 “voluntary departure” flights are scheduled to arrive at Sea-Tac by March 27.
