Fire crews extinguish blaze at abandoned house in Everett

EVERETT — Firefighters put out a blaze early Saturday morning at a house on Pacific Avenue, across from the Snohomish County Jail.

The house is abandoned and no injuries have been reported, Fire Chief Eric Hicks said. Investigators were looking into the cause of the fire Saturday morning. One investigator was at the site taking photos, but the structure isn’t stable enough to enter, Hicks said.

Crews responded to the fire just before 6 a.m. By the end of the morning, it had been extinguished.
