Washington Winter Beer Festival: The 13th annual Winter Beer Festival is Dec. 1 and 2 at Magnuson Park, 7400 Sand Point Way NE, Seattle. This year’s festival features 50 different Washington breweries pouring more than 200 beers. There will be three sessions 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. Dec. 1, and noon to 4 p.m. and 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. Dec. 2. Advance tickets are $30 and can be purchased at washingtonbrewersguild.org. Tickets at the door are $35.
Haywire anniversary party: Snohomish’s Haywire Brewing is hosting its first anniversary party from noon to 10 p.m. Dec. 2 at the brewery, 12125 Treosti Road, Snohomish. There will be four new beers, two food trucks, Moonshine BBQ and Jimmy Pepper’s, and prizes.
Pictures with Santa at Foggy Noggin: Cross off Santa pictures with the kids and grab a pint of beer at the same time at Pictures with Santa at Foggy Noggin Brewing from 1 to 3 p.m. Dec. 2 at the brewery, 22329 53rd Ave. SE, Bothell. A donation to Northwest Harvest will get your kids a picture with Santa in the Foggy Noggin tasting room.
Dog Party at SnoTown Brewery: Bring your four-legged friend to this Dog Party from 2 to 5 p.m. Dec. 3 at the brewery, 511 Second St., Snohomish. SnoTown’s Dog Paw Pale will be on tap, and Cascade Grooming and Canine Beer Biscuit will be on hand. Also get a picture with your dog and Santa Claus for free.
Bastion Brewing tasting: Marysville’s Whitewall Brewing is hosting Anacortes’ Bastion Brewing Co. from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Dec. 6 at the brewery, 14524 Smokey Point Blvd., Suite 1, Marysville.
Fort George Brewing tasting: Stanwood’s Ale Spike is hosting Astoria, Oregon, brewery Fort George Brewing for a tasting from 5 to 8 p.m. Dec. 7 at the taproom, 9300 271st St. NW, Suite B5, Stanwood.
Winter Beer tasting: Anacortes’ H2O is hosting Mukilteo’s Diamond Knot Brewing, Marysville’s Whitewall Brewing and other brewers for a tasting night at 6 p.m. Dec. 7 at the taproom, 314 Commercial Ave., Anacortes.
Evening of Seattle Brewing: Pike Place Market is hosting the American Brewing History Initiative for an evening of discussion on the history of Seattle Brewing from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Dec. 8 in the market’s atrium. Holiday Wine, Beer & Spirits Walk: The Greater Bothell Chamber of Commerce is hosting its Holiday Wine, Beer & Spirits Walk from 5 to 8 p.m. Dec. 9 in downtown Bothell. Sample beer, wine and spirits from more than 40 area breweries, wineries and distilleries, and shop from a number of participating stores.
