Freshies to Your Face: Bothell’s The Hop and Hound is hosting its annual Freshies to Your Face fresh hop event Oct. 12-14 at the taproom, 18116 101st Ave. NE, Bothell. There will be 10 taps of fresh hop beers and food trucks.

Scuttlebutt Oktoberfest: Everett’s Scuttlebutt Brewing is hosting an Oktoberfest celebration from 6 p.m. to midnight Oct. 13 at the taproom, 3314 Cedar St., Everett. Tickets are $20 and include a beer and a brat. There will be live music.

Dreadnought Brewing tasting: Kenmore’s 192 Brewing is hosting Monroe’s Dreadnought Brewing at 6 p.m. Oct. 16 at the brewery, 7324 NE 175th St., Kenmore.

Black Raven Brewing tasting: Lynnwood’s Special Brews is hosting Redmond’s Black Raven Brewing for a tasting at 5 p.m. Oct. 17 at the taproom, 14608 Highway 99, Suite 307, Lynnwood.

Science of Spirits: Seattle’s Pacific Science Center is hosting Science of Spirits, a night of science served with sips of samples from local distilleries, including Edmonds’ Scratch Distillery and Lynnwood Temple Distilling, from 7 to 10 p.m. Oct. 19 at PSC, 200 Second Ave. N, Seattle. Tickets can be purchased at www.pacificsciencecenter.org.

Foggy Noggin’s Fresh Hop Festival: Bothell’s Foggy Noggin Brewing is hosting its own Fresh Hop Festival Oct. 19 and 20 at the brewery, 22329 53rd Ave. SE, Bothell. Foggy Noggins will be serving three fresh hop beers, including one made with hops grown on the brewery’s property.

Crucible 3 Year Anniversary: Everett’s Crucible Brewing is hosting its 3 Year Old Birthday Party from 11 a.m. to midnight Oct. 20 at the brewery, 909 SE Everett Mall Way, Everett. There will be new beers, food trucks and plenty more.

Anderson School Pumpkin Party: McMenamins Anderson School is hosting a pumpkin carving party from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 21 at the school’s Haynes Hall, 18607 Bothell Way NE, Bothell. Free. Pumpkins and carving kits will be for sale at the door. There will also be Halloween-themed movies, music, barbecue and, of course, beer.

Pelican Brewing tasting: Lynnwood’s Special Brews is hosting Oregon’s Pelican Brewing for a tasting at 5 p.m. Oct. 24 at the taproom, 14608 Highway 99, Suite 307, Lynnwood.

Snohomish Brewfest: The annual Snohomish Brewfest is returning Nov. 2 and 3 at Thomas Family Farms, 9010 Marsh Road, Snohomish. More than 30 breweries and cideries will pour drinks. Sessions are 6 to 10 p.m. Nov. 2 and noon to 4 p.m. and 6 to 10 p.m. Nov. 3. Advance tickets are $30 or $35 at the door.

Naked City celebrates a decade: Seattle brewery Naked City is celebrating its 10th anniversary with parties at both its Greenwood and Camano Island locations. The Camano Island celebration is Nov. 3 at 848 N. Sunrise Blvd., and includes beer flights of the brewery’s 10-for-10 collaboration beers and food specials.
