Beer, wine, spirits: Where to grab a drink in Snohomish County

Beers Made by Walking tapping: The 2018 Seattle Beers Made by Walking event is from 1 to 5 p.m. Oct. 27 at the Naked City Brewery & Taphouse, 8564 Greenwood Ave. N., Seattle. Advance tickets are $20 or $25 at the door. A dozen local brewers, including Everett’s Lazy Boy Brewing, brewed beers inspired by one of three hikes: Pratt River Trail, South Tiger Traverse and Heather Lake. Proceeds go to Washington Wild, a nonprofit organization that works to protect wild lands and rivers in Washington.

Mosaic Double Dry Hop release party: Everett’s Scuttlebutt Brewing is hosting a release party for its newest seasonal release, Mosaic Double Dry Hopped IPA, at 7 p.m. Oct. 27 at the taproom, 3314 Cedar St., Everett. The costume party features live music from Spooky Mansion, Lake and Steel Beans.

Historical Scottish Ales at Foggy Noggin: Bothell’s Foggy Noggin Brewing is hosting British beer historian Ron Pattinson for a historical Scottish ales beer tasting at 6 p.m. Nov. 2 at the brewery, 22329 53rd Ave. SE, Bothell. Tickets are $35. Space is limited.

Snohomish Brewfest: The annual Snohomish Brewfest is returning Nov. 2 and 3 at Thomas Family Farms, 9010 Marsh Road, Snohomish. More than 30 breweries and cideries will pour drinks. Sessions are 6 to 10 p.m. Nov. 2 and noon to 4 p.m. and 6 to 10 p.m. Nov. 3. Advance tickets are $30 or $35 at the door.

Naked City celebrates a decade: Seattle brewery Naked City is celebrating its 10th anniversary with parties at both its Greenwood and Camano Island locations. The Camano Island celebration is Nov. 3 at 848 N. Sunrise Blvd., and includes beer flights of the brewery’s 10-for-10 collaboration beers and food specials.

Beer and Cupcake Pairing at Crucible: Everett’s Crucible Brewing is hosting Grain Artisan Bakery for a Beer and Cupcake Pairing from noon to 3 p.m. Nov. 3 at the brewery, 909 SE Everett Mall Way, Suite D440, Everett. Advance tickets are $15 and include four 5-ounce beer tasters and mini cupcakes.

Hops on the Rock: The second annual Hops on the Rock island beer festival is from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Eastsound on Orcas Island. There will be more than 20 local breweries from around the Sound, including Whitewall Brewing, Lazy Boy Brewing and Sumerian Brewing. General tickets are $25 and a food-pairing ticket is $40.
