5th annual Chili Cook-off at Gallagher’s: Edmonds’ Gallagher’s Where-U-Brew is hosting its fifth annual Chili Cook-off at 2 p.m. Jan. 26 at the homebrewing store, 180 W. Dayton St., Suite 105, Edmonds. Bring your best chili recipe for a chance to win prizes, including a full-batch brewing or wine kit. Event will also be a fundraiser for Washington Kids in Transition.
Pints 4 Purple at SnoTown: Snohomish’s SnoTown Brewing is hosting a Pints 4 Purple fundraiser from 3 to 6 p.m. Jan. 26 at the brewery, 511 Second St., Snohomish. Snotown will donate $1 from every pint sold, with money raised during the event going to the National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation.
Farmstrong Brewing at Route 2: Monroe’s Route 2 Taproom and Grazing Place is hosting Mount Vernon’s Farmstrong Brewing for a tasting at 6 p.m. Jan. 29 at the taproom, 19837 U.S. 2, Monroe.
Stoup Brewing at Special Brews: Lynnwood’s Special Brews is hosting Seattle’s Stoup Brewing for a tasting at 5 p.m. Jan. 30 at the taproom, 14608 Highway 99, Lynnwood.
KEXP Transistor IPA tall can release: Everett’s Scuttlebutt Brewing is teaming up with Seattle radio station KEXP to throw a release party for its new tall cans of Transistor IPA at 7 p.m. Jan. 30 and 31 at the Belltown Yacht Club, 2320 First Ave., Seattle. There will be live music from Chong the Nomad and Spirit Award.
Latino Street Food Pop-up at Scuttlebutt: Everett’s Scuttletbutt Taproom is hosting a night of Latino street food and beer at 6 p.m. Feb. 1 at the taproom, 3314 Cedar St., Everett. Tickets are $20 and include three courses by Chef Jose Garzon and a flight of three beers.
Melvin 2×4 Day at Special Brews: Lynnwood’s Special Brews, 14608 Highway 99, and Bothell’s The Hop and Hound, 18116 101st Ave. NE, are both hosting Melvin Brewing’s 2×4 Day on Feb. 2. Stop by either taproom to enjoy wild creations from the Wyoming brewery.

Sound to Summit Brewing 4th anniversary: Snohomish’s Sound to Summit Brewing is hosting its fourth anniversary party Feb. 6 at the brewery, 1830 Bickford Ave., Suite 111, Snohomish. Sound to Summit will release its final beer in its 7 Summit Series and have the other six on tap as well.
Deconstruction of a Beer: Butch’s Brew: Bothell’s Foggy Noggin Brewing is hosting a brew and learning opportunity at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 7 at the brewery, 22329 53rd Ave. SE, Bothell. Learn what it takes to brew the award-winning Butch’s Brew, Foggy Noggin’s hazelnut brown. Tickets are $10.
GEBL IPA Bracket Challenge: Everett’s Crucible Brewing is hosting the 2019 Greater Everett Brewers League IPA Bracket Challenge competition from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Feb. 9 at the brewery, 909 SE Everett Mall Way, Suite D440, Everett. The Beer Judge Certification judging round begins at 8:30 a.m. and the Bracket judging round is at noon. The Best of Show judging is at 1:30 p.m.
Valentine’s Pet Food Drive at Skookum: Arlington’s Skookum Brewery is hosting a pet food drive at 1 p.m. Feb. 9 at the brewery, 17925 59th Ave. NE, Arlington. Bring pet food and treats to donate to the Everett Animal Shelter, Save-A-Mutt’s foster program and the Marysville Food Bank.
Scuttlebutt Family Days: Everett’s Scuttlebutt Taproom is hosting Family Days on Saturdays at the taproom, 3314 Cedar St., Everett. There will be $2 root beers, cornhole, board games and music on select dates: Feb. 9: School of Rock; March 2: Caspar Babypants.
Hop Mob Triple IPA event at Sound to Summit: Snohomish’s Sound to Summit Brewing is hosting a Washington Hop Mob Triple IPA event at 5 p.m. Feb. 12 at the brewery, 1830 Bickford Ave., Suite 111, Snohomish. There will be eight triple IPAs on tap from breweries around the state.
