Dinner for seniors

The Everett Police Department is hosting a holiday meal for seniors 50 and older Sunday.

The festive event runs from noon to 3 p.m. at the Cascade View Hall, located at 3025 Lombard Ave.

Arlington Fire Department food drive

The annual Arlington Fire Department food drive is entering its final weekend.

Firefighters and their families will be escorting Santa through town on a decorated fire truck to collect food and cash donations for the Arlington Community Food Bank.

The crew will be visiting Gleneagle East today starting at 5 p.m. and The Crossing, Highland View Estates and mobile home parks Sunday, starting at 5 p.m.

12 Days of Goodness

Put on your blue and green and join former Seahawk players and personalities at the Carl Gipson Senior Center on Wednesday from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

12 Days of Goodness is a volunteer group that visits seniors across the area, with former Seattle sports legends coming along the way.

Join the Little Science Lab

The Imagine Children’s Museum is inviting children age 3 through 5 to join the Little Science Lab on Thursday.

The lab is a hands-on science and math program designed for kids and their parents.

The event begins at 1:30 p.m. at the main branch of the Everett Library, located at 2702 Hoyt Avenue.

Menorah lighting in Lynnwood

The city of Lynnwood is hosting its seventh annual Menorah lighting featuring the Seattle-based Klez Katz Klezmer Band.

There will be traditional Hanukkah songs and holiday treats.

The ceremony takes place Dec. 22 from 4 to 6 p.m. at City Hall, located at 19100 44th Avenue West.

Monroe holiday concert

The Monroe Community Band is hosting a free holiday concert with door prizes and a donation drive for The Salvation Army.

The band will put a spin on traditional holiday tunes about a cowboy Christmas, medieval celebrations and midnight sleigh rides.

The show starts at 7 p.m. Dec. 20 at the Wagner Performing Arts Center, 639 W. Main Street.

Pancake breakfast in Monroe

Bring friends and family to the Monroe Community Senior Center’s pancake breakfast Dec. 21.

There will be pancakes, French toast, scrambled eggs, ham, sausage, coffee, milk and juice.

Tickets are $6 for adults and $3 for kids. Proceeds benefit the senior center.

Breakfast starts at 8 a.m. and ends at 10 a.m., located at 276 Sky River Parkway.

HEADS UP

Motorcycle club hosts toy drive

The Unchained Brotherhood Motorcycle Club is hosting its 11th annual toy drive Saturday and Sunday at the Everett Mall Way Walmart.

Members will be outside the store from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days. There will be a biker Santa taking pictures with children for free.

All toys go to “Seeds of Grace — Christmas House.”
