Infiniti’s luxury three-row QX60 SUV is eye-catching, inside and out. Nothing about its appearance is flashy or superficial, just all-out class and top quality throughout.

There are four QX60 trim levels, generously equipped from the get-go: Pure, Luxe, Sensory, and Autograph. Each one has standard front-wheel drive with all-wheel drive available for an extra $2,000.

Pricing is attractive for a luxury SUV, starting at $50,395 with the destination charge included for a front-drive QX60 Pure model. It comes with heated eight-way power-adjustable front seats with lumbar adjustment, dual occupant memory for the driver’s seat, three-zone automatic climate control, a panoramic moonroof, power liftgate, rear parking sensors, and a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and wireless Apple CarPlay compatibility. Rear automatic braking and blind spot monitoring are among the safety features.

The standard QX60 seating configuration has a 60/40 split second-row bench and provides spots for up to seven passengers. Captain’s chairs replace the bench in the top-level Autograph model, reducing overall capacity to six but boosting quality of life for passengers in that row. Thoughtful stowage spaces for personal items impart a user-friendly vibe.

In whatever seating configuration and wherever positioned within the cabin, any unwanted noise is being generated by its occupants, not the QX60 itself, whose cabin is consistently tranquil.

A 3.5-liter V6 engine and nine-speed automatic transmission are in charge of mobilizing every QX60 model, providing 295 horsepower, 270 pound-feet of torque, and frisky acceleration. A five-mode drive selector and idle stop/start system are standard.

Alas, it’s a thirsty powertrain whose EPA ratings for front-wheel drive are 21 mpg city, 26 mpg highway, and 23 mpg combined. The numbers for all-wheel drive are 20/25/22 mpg. And it needs premium fuel, no less.

The Infiniti QX60 was fully redesigned for 2022, but there are a few changes for 2023. A wireless phone charging pad is now standard across all grades, and a frameless rearview mirror has been added. Revised lower bumper trim accent colors are gloss black on the Luxe trim, and dark gray on the Sensory and Autograph. The Infiniti Premium Care integrated maintenance program has been added, providing up to three years of inspections, oil changes, and tire rotations.
