NW Motorsport closes all locations, lays off 142 workers

MARYSVILLE — Northwest Motorsport, a used vehicle company, laid off 142 workers and closed all of its dealerships this week, including locations in Marysville and Lynnwood, according to a WARN notice filed with the state Employment Security Department.

The company operated dealerships in Marysville, Lynnwood, Puyallup, Pasco and Spokane Valley.

Northwest Motorsport posted the following message on its website: “Thank you for your business and interest in our dealership. After thoughtful consideration and evaluation of today’s pre-owned vehicle market conditions, we have decided to close operations at Northwest Motorsport, effective Jan. 23.”
