EVERETT — Lynnwood police said a 20-year-old driver wrecked four cars, including his own, while allegedly driving under the influence on Monday evening in Lynnwood.
Around 11:20 p.m. Monday, Lynnwood officers responded to multiple reports of a Dodge Challenger crashing into parked cars in the 18400 block of 52nd Avenue West, according to a Lynnwood Police Department press release. No injuries were reported.
The driver was booked on suspicion of DUI and three counts of hit-and-run, the release said.
This comes on the heels of another DUI collision that temporarily closed the 8700 block of Bowdoin Way on Monday, an Edmonds Police Department press release said.
On Monday afternoon, Edmonds police took a female suspect into custody after she crashed into a tree, narrowly missing a power line, according to the release.
In Everett, a DUI collision resulted in one man dead and another injured early Saturday morning.
Around 2:30 a.m. Saturday, Everett police responded to the crash in the 4300 block of Rucker Avenue. The 2025 Kia K4 had crashed into a building after a driver and a passenger allegedly fled from the Washington State Patrol, which was conducting a DUI investigation, an Everett Police Department social media post said.
The passenger was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene, court documents said. First responders transported the driver, who was partially ejected, to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett with multiple wounds on his head.
The suspect was booked on suspicion of vehicular homicide.
