Marysville gets spooky with Halloween events

EVERETT — Marysville invites trick-or-treaters of all ages to view haunted displays and collect Halloween treats while visiting city staff members, police officers, firefighters and community organizations at Trick or Treat Down Delta, a press release said.

The free event will take place 2-4 p.m. Friday at Delta Plaza, 501 Delta Ave. in Marysville, just west of Comeford Park. Over 30 stations will hand out candy.

Performers from the Marysville Performing Arts Centre dance studio will start the event with a performance of “Thriller” in front of the Marysville Civic Center.

At 6:30 p.m. on the same day at the Marysville Opera House, 1225 3rd St., adults can take part in the Monster Mash Halloween Ball. This event, for ages 21 and over, will include dancing, contests with prizes, and Halloween decorations. Attendees are encouraged to arrive in costume.
