EVERETT — An annual summer arts festival is set to return to downtown Everett this weekend, bringing artists, live entertainment and food into the city.
The Fresh Paint Festival, organized by the Schack Art Center in Everett, is known for artists creating their work onsite, allowing visitors to see the creative process and buy the art fresh off the easel.
Over 120 artists will be at this year’s festival, kicking off at 10 a.m. Saturday. The event will be open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday along Hoyt Avenue in downtown Everett.
