EVERETT — Almost a dozen cars in a downtown Everett parking garage were found “prowled and damaged” early Tuesday morning, police said.
Around 5 a.m., officers responded to the rooftop of the Everpark Garage at 2815 Hoyt Ave. to find 11 cars vandalized, many with their windows smashed in. The damage from the vandalism alone was estimated to exceed $5,000, Everett police officer Ora Hamel said.
Hamel declined to answer if police suspect more than one person was involved in the rampage, or if anything was stolen from the vehicles.
Property Crimes detectives were still reaching out to owners of the vehicles Tuesday and obtaining surveillance footage from the area.
Investigators have no suspects in custody, Hamel said.
