Light rail train derails on gravel in Tacoma

TACOMA — Sound Transit says there were no injuries and no damage when a light rail train derailed Wednesday night in Tacoma.

The train derailed on gravel that washed over the track because of heavy rain. The gravel came from a construction project.

Passengers were picked up by a bus.
