MARYSVILLE — Harbor Freight Tools, a discount tool and equipment retailer, plans to open a new store in Marysville this month.
The 15,000-square-foot Harbor Freight store, at 11401 State Ave. in Marysville, is the site of a former Albertsons grocery.
The new store, which will employ 35 to 40 employees, is expected to open June 12, followed by a grand opening on June 27, although those dates may change, Harbor Freight said.
“We’re thrilled to be opening our 23rd Harbor Freight Tools store in Washington and very pleased by the warm welcome we’ve received in Marysville,” said Eric Smidt, president of Harbor Tools. “We invite everyone in the Marysville area to visit our new store.”
Harbor Freight, based in Calabasas, California, was founded in 1977 and operates stores nationwide.
