Sometimes, 15 having receivers just doesn’t cut it, so what do you do? Sign a 16th of course. The Seahawks have claimed former Husky quarterback Isaiah Stanback off of waivers, adding another body to an already crowded position.
Now it is possible that Stanback could also see some time at quarterback, as he has practiced some there with Dallas and New England, but all of his playing time has come on special teams and at receiver.
Stanback, a 4th-round pick in 2007, spent last season with the Patriots after spending two seasons with the Cowboys.
