Tired of ties? Go with a turtleneck instead

The turtleneck sweater got a little love in recent Wall Street Journal’s style pages, which proclaimed that there are “more ways than ever” for men to wear the knit alternative to a shirt and tie.

Turtlenecks are best worn with sport coats and blazers for a casual look, experts say, although a black suit with a heathered gray, lightweight merino turtleneck is a good look.

Beware of letting the turtle encounter a 5 o’clock shadow. Whiskers will pill it.
