Habitat: Common near human habitation
Size: Length 8.5 inches; wingspan 16 inches
Fact: The starling was introduced to North America in the late 1800's. About 100 birds were released in Central Park in New York. Now, according to the Cornell Lab of Ornithology, there are more than 200 million starlings from Alaska to Mexico.
