EDMONDS — A woman was struck and killed by a train shortly before 2 p.m. today on a stretch of railroad track near Edmonds.
The woman faced the train and didn’t get off the tracks in an area near 136th Street SW and Puget Sound Boulevard, said Rebecca Hover, a spokeswoman for the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office.
“We are looking at the possibility this is a suicide,” Hover said.
