Silvertips Street Hockey Challenge wrap-up

It was a great day on the pavement. The sun was shining, there was a great crowd, and I think everyone had a lot of fun. Congratulations to The Punishers (age 9-12), Russia (age 13-17) and Sting II (age 18-and-over) for winning their divisions. And a big tip of the cap to the Tips, who put on a fantastic event that ran smoothly.

I actually played in the tournament, the first time I ever played street hockey. You can read about my experience as a street hockey beginner in tomorrow’s paper.
