SNOHOMISH — Police here arrested two men Sunday afternoon after a search warrant turned up marijuana and heroin at an apartment on the 200 block of Garden Court.
A third man at the apartment was detained but later released, said Cmdr. Fred Havener with Snohomish police. The other two were booked into Snohomish County Jail for investigation of possession of illegal drugs with the intent to deliver.
The arrests were part of Snohomish’s ongoing efforts against illegal drugs, especially heroin, Havener said Monday.
The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office and Lake Stevens police assisted in the warrant.
Havener encourages Snohomish residents to report suspicious activity in their neighborhoods to help police in their efforts.
