LYNNWOOD — A man died Tuesday night after a wrong-way crash on an I-5 offramp at 196th Street SW in Lynnwood.
The man, 68, appeared to have been driving down Poplar Way before going southbound up the northbound offramp, said Trooper Mark Francis with the Washington State Patrol. The car went about 150 feet before going off the shoulder.
Passersby who found the man tried to revive him, Francis said.
The crash was reported just before 8:45 p.m. No other vehicles were involved, Francis said. The man was the only person in the car.
The crash remains under investigation.
